Mouthy Mare Bitworks provides independent, science-based bit and bridle fitting and education for equestrians of all disciplines. My approach is centered on the individual horse—looking at what their anatomy, current equipment, and ridden response tell us about fit to your horse as an individual rather than what is popular, traditional, or trending. As a LANTRA-accredited Bit and Bridle Fitting Consultant with certification in Bits and Bitting Science, I offer individual consultations as well as science-based bit and bridle education through workshops for the equestrian community. From the dressage ring, to the trails of the Great Northwoods, to mile 12 of a 25-mile distance ride, or a bareback ride to the mailbox and back. I’m here to help all equestrians build a better understanding and partnership with their horse through bit and bridle fitting and education. Covering Central Wisconsin, but travel frequently across the Midwest.
