Bit Bank Australia Accredited Bit Fitter 2024. Mentored by Loren Wellings of Horse Bit Emporium/Fager bits in Victoria. And other ongoing Education. History: Have worked for Human Dentist and Chiropractor which has helped with horse body/health understanding. In the Equine industry for an Equine Veterinary Practice (Wyong Equine Clinic), Showjumping Stables, Horse Riding Centre and an Assistant to a Saddle fitter briefly.
I started my horse journey at Suva Pony Club Fiji in 1981 and have enjoyed low level Dressage and Showjumping. And today like to train my horses with Positive Reinforcement (R+) and have a Foundation level Training Certificate in Positive Reinforcement. I backed my Pony using R+ training over a two-year period at 47 yo and he is my best training achievement to date. I was encouraged by friends to become a Bit Fitter and work to improve the Horses comfort and welfare in their ridden life. Specialising in Ethical English Disciplines Bits and Bridles.
I am in NSW Australia and service the Mid North Coast and travel to surrounding area. Newcastle/East Hunter Valley, Central Coast, Coffs Harbour and North via appointment and additional Travel charges.
