We are pleased to introduce, and welcome Aimee Shiel as a Consultant.
I have had a lifelong passion for the horse, learning to ride at a young age and typically spending all my time with them and watching them. I have groomed for Event and Dressage riders in the North East of England.
Growing up I also had a passion for science, and went to university for a BSc in Applied Science.
I am a qualified Equine and Canine Sports Massage therapist having qualified with EMA at Bishop Burton, this being where my love for biomechanics really began.
I am a strong believer that there is no such thing as a ‘Bad Horse’, behavioural problems can be improved and eliminated with changes to equipment, pain management and education for both horse and handler.
I live for that ‘Magic Moment’ with horses when you get it just right, be it with massage and the release, or in changes to equipment that really allow a horse to become something more.
I currently own a 17hh 9 yr old ISH mare with plenty quirks to keep things interesting
